Just beautiful work by a truly great and humble magician. I tellya, I know people like Matrix done with cards but this looks so much better IMHO. I've heard the rationale put forth by the originator as to why it looks more like "real" magic using the cards but when you see a Dean Dill work it like this bare-handed, well you should be questioning that rationale as put. This looks very magical to me, what am I missing???

Dean is under rated in my opinion. A real thinker. Smooth. Seems to really understand the psychology of presentation. Actually very humble for all the things he's contributed to the Art.

The way Dean does this, with simple laying on of hands, with no other props, is the most magical effect of all chink a chink or matrices out there.
To see a difficult thing lightly handled gives the impression of the impossible.

Dean Dill is a master matrix and chink a chink performer - and so many variations of these stunning effects.
It just keeps evolving and moving forward.
To see a difficult thing lightly handled gives the impression of the impossible.

It's a delight to see the originals AND see the Classics evolve.
Not all Classics can evolve!

I agree, Atom, and you make a very important distinction between an original and a classic. They are very different things.
What often does not evolve is a masterpiece (as you well know)...yet classics can remain a classic and then evolve. Splitting hairs I suppose, but another important distinction here. An original, a classic and a masterpiece...all make an enormous contribution to the art or body of knowledge and all worthy of our respect.
To see a difficult thing lightly handled gives the impression of the impossible.
