I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, if it is not, please move it to where it should be, thank you. Anyway, what I am looking for are suggestions on books that deal more with misdirection and performance than actual effects. I have plenty of those, but I know I need to hone(sp) my skills at performance more. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am just about to start Strong Magic by Darwin Ortiz as this seems to be a standard. Are there any others?
Thank You Shawn

There are other folks who've published work on misdirection.
from 'Our Magic' to 'The Ramsay Legend' -> or better yet the tapes... Tarbell? Kurtz?
...to all the coins I've dropped here

Slydini was a master of misdirection. Rocco had good points on his tapes as he learned much from Slydini is what he said on the tape I believe.

Apart from "Strong Magic", I'd suggest to read "Magic by Misdirection" by Dariel Fitzkee, "Magic and Showmanship" by Henning Nelms, "Don't look now!" by Al Leech and "Leading with your Head" by Gary Kurtz.
