I met this guy last year and sessioned with him a few weeks ago. Seeing this Close up is truly magical... Very clean and deceptive.

I love the way this looks but I think I will hang tight for a few more reviews before I jump on this one. Thanks to all of those who have already given their honest opinions.

This effect looks amazing!
My mouse is hovering over the "buy" button on Theory 11, but I am also concerned about hand size. Any advice? |

I really like this. When done properly, and it takes some practice to get there, it is pretty mind blowing. I will say that it does have to be pretty precise otherwise, you can be exposed easily but when it all comes together, it's a brilliant effect.
Also, I'm typically not the DIY guy but it wasn't too bad having to make the gimmick. The instructions are nice and slow so you can follow along in real time as you do it. |

Thanks for your thoughts on Rapture PendletonThe3rd. What's your experience with the angles on this effect?

Hi James,
There are indeed SOME angle sensitivities to keep in mind, but overall, it's a very fair presentation with enough wiggle room to work with. Angles, however, will be the very least of your concerns on this one. It's more the precision factor in pulling this off. Not knacky, mind you, just...well... precise (I don't know how else to describe it)! Pulled off correctly, though, it really does look like trick photography. Now, you won't nail it every time, just like you wont nail a great golf drive with every attempt. However, after enough practice, you should be able to nail it here and there...with every attempt in between being good enough to pass. Just get to a place where you can consistently pull it off reasonably well enough and you should be good to go from there. Hope that helps! |

Does every vanish require palming (from the video it does not look like every vanish requires it)? Asking as I try to avoid palming (even though I'm a card guy), my hands are on the smaller side.
This is one of the most visual effects I have ever seen involving cards, very well done. Thanks P |

I have Freedom Pack from Justin Miller, and with that you can do a very brief Ambitious phase before having the box appear around the cards. Then you can put the box away and continue. Is that possible with this?

Rapture was more designed to make the card box vanish rather than appearing ~
