Hi everyone, anyone know of any good resources to learn how to use sponge bunnies/balls? I'm pretty much a complete beginner when it comes to them. I know about one vanish and that's it. Thanks in advance

I recently bought the "Encyclopedia of Sponge Ball Magic" mentioned by Motown. I highly recommend it. Some online vendors offer it as low as $12.99, and some will sell it for a bit more but bundle it with a set of sponge balls. I got mine at a brick-and-mortar shop in Massachusetts (USA).

I would also look at the sponge ball magic kit by theater magic it's affordable and comes with everything you need to get started. It covers all of the bases and they make it fun to learn.

I got started with Patrick Page's sponge balls DVD--another excellent resource, and cheap too. Teaches a lot of interesting moves and a couple whole routines (one of which is my primary sponge ball routine).

I bought Sponge, Spongeball Toolbox and Encyclopedia of Sponge Ball Magic and they're ultimately excellent learning tools.
Dacri has awesome personallity and a the sponges that come with the kit are pretty high quality. Encyclopedia is all done by Ben Silanas, who is pretty stiff if not cheesy in his presentation BUT the ammount of content on the DVD is just insane. The sponge balls included are pretty worthless. |

I have 30 tips and tricks with sponge balls featuring Eddy Ray. It's a pretty good place to start. I also have the world's greatest magic sponge ball dvd which has some excellent professional routines.

May I suggest Alfonso's routine for the sponge rabbits, the most difficult aspect of any rabbit routine is the "loading" finale (even the Daryl DVD omits this explanation); Alfonso's method /idea is to borrow the phrase "priceless";

Generally, I load the finale as I'm putting rabbit #2 IN the pocket.
Best advice is to load when you ditch, or any time you have a logical reason to be going into the pocket.

Alfonso's method does not require the "going to the pocket" grab; You still might be able to purchase directly from him : magicalfonso.com
