I thought the following might of interest to those in the UK. On Radio 4 at 11:30am on Thursday 28/06/2012 there is a programme on an essay written by Freud.

The extract below is taken from TV listings giving a quick idea about what the programme is about.

‘The surge of interest in spiritualism, ghosts and the occult that followed the carnage of the First World War prompted Freud to write his extraordinary essay The Uncanny. This programme looks at the essay, and ponders the enduring fascination of all things uncanny.’
