I've just started researching sawing in half methods and came across the below clip on youtube. Can anyone confirm whose version it is and whether it is available to buy or build from plans. Also are there any books that covers the variations of this classic illusion and the history behind it? Café thread links appreciated.

This is the Wakeling Sawing. It's described in the book "The magic of Alan Wakeling" written by Jim Steinmeyer.
The book tells about the history of the illusion and gives also drawings and dimensions.
