Not to get political, but; Oh yes, up there with Stan Laurel and Lou Costello.

The water/gatorade thing. You should drink mostly water, but supplement with some gatorade. A lot recommend 2:1 water to sports drink. I think it mostly has to do with the extra sugars and calories. However, if you out in the sun all day, and I have spent 6 hours out on the pitch sweating the whole time and drank well over 64 ounces of water in that time period and not had to pee a single time. That is some serious sweating. When there are salt stains on your dark clothes, you know you have lost too much in the way of salts and electrolytes. Especially when you down from the sun beating you all day. I don't know what else to say, except listen to your body, try to get a spot in the shade.

You're talking very fast especially during Cups. instinctively you're rushing either because you're nervous or because you want to get to the hat as fast as possible to keep the crowd and hat them. I think you'll be surprised how much better they respond and how much bigger the crowd will get. That was one of my own hardest habits to break. |

Consider joining a toastmasters club in your area. They can really help with your speech...including your pace. For me it's the dreaded "uummm's". A club like toastmaster really helps because you're given positive and useful critiques. They also do "table toucs" which help sharpen improv skills. They're not for everyone but you can check out a meeting for free. Just find local club and contact them.

Speaking of improv, a buddy of mine works at the local comedy sports(I think it's a national thing) its like a live who's line is it anyway type show. The offer a class that helps you with speech and improv. Cost $180 for an 8 week class. You guys think it's worth the time and investment?
