For a linking ropes routine-- does anyone have any ideas on how I could take 2 linked ropes (1 regular, 1 with the gimmick) and make it into 1 giant look looking like 1 rope with it's ends tied?
Thanks so much, ~Ben |

This is done in Bavarian linking ropes.

Why not start with a large loop tied, perform several C/R effects ending with two ropes that can be linked (no gaff), followed by cutting one again for PN and ending with one large loop at the end.
I do that in a routine called "Necklacy" with other object on the neckace that you perform with along the way -- "a Routine on a Rope" PM me for details if interested.

I do not think that using two rope and only one knot at the end would be magical, as the heat would reveal your secret grip. One loop without a knot would be more confusing.
