During the past year, I bought some tricks from EBay.
I rejected 6 of them (all from China) after they were delivered and found to be either a ripoff or a counterfeit product.
I complained to EBay but they do nothing if the vendor refunds my money. Which they all did.
I also let EBay know that most of the magic tricks coming from China is counterfeit.

Any way I noticed that "Extreme Burn" is for sale at:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Extreme-Burn-2-0......d124c4a8

This is from one of the sellers that previously sold me a knockoff.
Is there a way to verify if this is a legal copy?
and
What can we do about this?
I'm posting this because it ****es me off that they are making money from someone elses hard work and investment.
They just copy it and make all that profit by stealing.

Buy from a reputable dealer, or even better, a brick & mortar shop

Ebay: Caveat Emptor.

I agree with you.
That was the point I was making by sharing my experiences.

I also bought "Kartis" from a "reputable dealer" and when I needed help, I PMed Mr. Tango.
When I described the problem I was having, he informed me that I received a knockoff copy.
He said he will contact the "reputable dealer".
Go figure. An illegal copy from a "reputable dealer"!
You never know.

But you are right, the chances are greater that you will get burnt on EBay.
The bright side is that if you complain to EBay, you will get your money back.

It doesn’t help the rest of us much if you don’t name the so-called "reputable" dealer! Name please...

Thank you.

It was the "Mad Hatter Magic Shop" in Columbia, South Carolina
I still have the email with the "Kartis" invoice. I bought 6 items from them. The others seemed to be fine.

1 x MILLION DOLLAR MONTE, DVD AND CARDS(watch video)
1 x Kartis Visible Bill Change (watch video)
1 x Glass Card Deck
1 x BICYCLE VARIETY GAFF DECK (Poker Size)
1 x Spring Bills
1 x Magic Wand with Sound

Mr. Tango assured me it was not his gimmick. The DVD looked like it was professionally labeled.
