I purchased this book not knowing what it would be about, but rather because it was written by Walt Anthony.
I was not expecting a full course presentation of how to restore magic to its former glory by thinking of magic as art, and theater. Walt takes his magic to a new/ very old level in that he turns tricks to theater. I am so glad this is not just another book with random tricks to be copied and performed with no original thinking added to make them unique. to be honest this book should be the first book any magician should read and embrace. the content is invaluable to anyone seeking to make a living in our field. the way it is written is easy to understand and does not sound like a lecture. well done Walt and thank you for sharing this with me brother. Walt is not only a brilliant artist but one of the most amazing and generous human beings I have had the honor of speaking to. Couldn't agree with this more. A beautiful book with invaluable guidance.

Hi guys!
I've already written a review quite a while ago. At first I thought it was a book on Bizarre Magic, but after reading a couple chapters, I see it is about making your effects more "magical"! Amazing and generous are only two of the qualities I would use to describe Walt. A unique human being, who only wants to make the world a better place, and entertain the old fashioned way! Yeah, guys and gals, this book changed not only my magic, but ME! I don't think the same after reading this book! I wish I could tell you the things...but we'd be off topic. Really, for $35, it is a MUST for Bizarre, Close-up, Parlor or Stage magic. I cannot think of another book that has done so much for my magic in 35 years! If ya want, folks, check it out here, and read the PDF sample of the book. Also scroll down and look at the other books available from this publisher! http://www.leapinglizardsmagic.com/csspa......ment.htm Doug |
