Ever done done tricks with a normal deck and then switched it out at the end for an examinable blank deck? Try it sometime. It'll probably fool your friends.

Yes, I have done that in the past. However, the majority of my performance venues, does not allow me the luxury of carring that many props. I would rather not dedicate precious pocket space for a one effect deck. If performing a formal close-up show, I have in the past and still do now, switch out decks on occasion. There's no question, this allows for some really killer material.
However, as stated the majority of my performance venues does not afford me the luxury of carring multiable decks. My personal preference is to use a deck that will allow me "multiable use". This is my personal preference and I'm suggesting this course is the end all for others. |
