Is there a particular one that is better than others? I have heard good things about the Kozar Prediction Notepad, not too familiar with any others.

The Kozar pad is a really good prop. I've not seen others but would recommend this one.

For a great, virtually completely impromptu version of the Mental Epic, using a stenographer's pad, and working with 3 people, see "Steno ESP" in Richard Osterlind's new booklet, "The Very Modern Mindreader & Other Miracles."
