Is there any way to take a deck of cards out of the plastic wrapping and then put it back in without making it look tampered with and look like an ordinary deck that hasnt been opened?

If you search for "Wonder Sealer" at some of the dealer sites, I think it's the type of device you're asking about. I have no idea how well it works, though.

Yes, King! Welcome to The Café!
Carefully open it from the bottom and slide the deck out, without wrinkling or disturbing the cellophane too much. Then, carefully peel up one side of the seal, and open the deck. The alternative is open it from the bottom, and use rubber cement to seal it back up. That's easier. Then, slip it back into the cellophane, remembering it was taken out of the bottom, and reseal it with rubber cement. I did that, after reversing a two of clubs, and switched it for a brand new deck I found in my Dad's card drawer. They still talk about that. My parents are long dead now, but my brother was there! Thanks Dougini that's a brilliant idea, il be sure to try that when I get hold of some rubber cement, I was going to try it with sticky tape but I think that would be too obvious and it would look tampered with

Depending on your needs, I've simply cut the entire bottom out of the wrapper.
Show the deck, with the fingers casually guarding the bottom, remove the cellophane wrapper and discard. |

That would be good, Brody, but I was "under fire". I did a prediction and my brother chose the two of clubs! He said that would REALLY blow his mind, if I did it with an UNOPENED deck! BINGO! I said, "Dad, do you have a brand new deck of cards?" He said, "As a matter of fact, I DO! I'll get it..." I told my Dad to directly hand it to my brother, and for him to open it.

Another thought with the "Wonder Sealer" method. If you carefully unstick the bottom folds of the original wrapper, it will reseal using the wonder sealer. If that fails, just use new wrapper.

Crazy glue also works well because it dries clear.

I've used an exacto knife to open the bottom of the cello. I then used a heat gun to make it easier to pull off the seal. With the right amount of heat it will come rigth off. Too much and it will burn. Might work with a hair dryer? Reseal and off, push back up into the wrapper and off you go.

Depending on the thickness of the wrapper and how good you are with a lighter you can hold it low enough to just simply melt it closed. You have to be careful not to leave clumps of plastic though.

Rubber cement allows you to open and close at will, I like that as if you deceide to make a change prior to performance you can

Be careful...many rubber cement products are yellow and not clear.

I have sheets of seals I would be willing to part with. Mt dad, Cards By Martin (Neil Lester,) had tons of them in his shop. I don't know what he sold them for. Anyone ever buy them from him and know his prices?
