3 Questions:
1. Can I use a thread bullet for performing Terry Luncefords Floating Fingerring? 2. What thread should I buy for floating a fingerring? 3. Any ideas if another application than a thread bullet would be better for Luncefords Floating Fingerring? |

Kollo, the answers to your three questions are:
1) Yes, 2)Fearson sells three kinds of thread with the bullets, and I think the three of them would work. I've only tried the Virtuoso grade, which is pretty invisible, and it levitates a finger ring, no problem. 3)Oh, man, there's so many ideas out there! Menny Lindenfeld (in his Penguin Live lecture) has a nice application using loops, Damien Savina (in his DVD called invisible) has an idea using a retractable mechanical reel, then you have Mesika's ring levitations using the tarantula and if I'm not mistaken also the Spider Pen Pro, Steve Fearson has a version that seems to have inspire Damien Savina, and other ideas to levitate rings (in his Master Levitation System), from emagicsupply.com. If you are getting started and need to get your bearings I would start with the thread bullets, and keep these other methods for later developments once you have the one with a static line mastered. All the others increase in complexity (except for the loops idea), and if you have a solid grounding in the basic static line then you can move on to reels and such. I love the Thread bullets. My only minor problem with them is that over time the back might develop a little dent, and get the thread caught in it. It's more of an annoyance because I know that it could be solved by making the thread bullets pointy on both ends, but the world is not perfect. You use the back of the thread bullets when you are using their memory function. So, that's the only drawback. I absolutely love how handy and small they are. |
