I find it very difficult to use Tenkai clip while seated. I don't seem to have enough clearance to avoid flashing during the pivot without being awkward. I find it no problem standing, which brings me to my question:
Does anyone use this sleight while seated? Is it primarily for stand up? Thanks! |

You can use it seated or standing, but I usually use it standing.

It is more a question of the angles of the audiences' eyes to your hands than seated or standing. As long as they look down, you are ok. This can be adjusted by changing the chair height or table height.

I don't have experience with it seated.
I will play with it and see how it "plays." It is great in walk around situations. Harris Deutsch Laughologist

I just started learning it. I just sat in lecture today at school doing it over and over and over. I find it awkward sitting down too because of the angles unless you have short arms maybe. If you’re able to, you can also lower your hand so that the table in fact hides the coin hiding.

It seems to be better suited for standing. I haven't used it a lot, but I can see how it would be hard to keep your angles if you were seated without being double-jointed in your wrist.
