18th. August 2012 is the 400th. Anniversary of the beginning of the Lancashire Witch Trials. After only two days, eight women and two men were found guilty and sentenced to death. They were hanged at Lancaster Castle on 20th. August 1612.

It is a good documentary - the spooky cartoon figures are very much in keeping with the locations. Descendants of several of the families still live in the area.

Used the situation for one of my commercially availible tricks. Quite cool to find a documentary on them, but I havent seen it yet
