I have bought Princess in a Pickle and really love the idea and concept of this trip. I have used it twice so far, once at a birthday and secondly at a school parent and student evening. This is my question. How do 'you' ensure the kids behave while holing the silks? Or is there an age that is too young- say5 years old?
I ask because the children were trying to wrap themselves up in the silk, hopping when they frog character (not in a cute way, but distracting the storyline). I do ask them to hold the white spots (velcro) and keep it under their chin. I believe I must be missing something? Perhaps I should demonstrate how to stand before picking volunteers? Any feed back would be appreciated. |

Birthdays are tough to get kids to behave..... it's like asking college kids at a frat keg party to not act stupid.
I've only use the trick at public shows and have not had any problems, except for a kid crying that didn't want to be kissed. Try it where everyone doesn't' know each other and I bet those issues go away. |
