Yesterday, I found a very strange postcard in an unknown language (probably semitic, aramean?) adressed to mademoiselle Mary Francken rue Stevin. I you erase the 'v' of Stevin, you mary read Mary Francken Stein... The card was send in Belgium and to Belgium in the early XXth century or late XIXth.
Everyone has any idea of the language used? |

Isn't this what in Europe was called Steno?
It was used by secretaries to speed write during meetings (making notes). That's my guess. Frank
