This is probably a long shot, but I'm wondering if anyone knows the specific shape, curvature and thickness of the ridges in a Lubor's Lens? I ask because I'm looking into the possibility of making a big one (for personal use, not to sell) at i.materialise.com, which offers 3D printing in clear plastic. Any hints much appreciated.
PS - Since this is a rather obscure question, I'm posting it in a few different obscure parts of the Café. I hope the mods don't mind, but if they do, feel free to move or delete as necessary.
Every problem contains the seeds of its own solution. Unfortunately every problem also contains the seeds of an infinite number of non-solutions, so that first part really isn't super helpful.

This might help:
Each lenticule has a catenary surface having a non-uniform radius of curvature that is greatest at the center of the lenticule and smallest at its outer edges
I spent most of my money on magic and women, the rest i just wasted
