Hi All,
Long time lurker first time poster. I have been working on this control independently for some time now and I am now really keen to get some feedback as it is beginning to get a lot more refined. Please check the video below and let me know what you think! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ht4OgeNS_eM Please note that this control can be used to bring the card to the top or the bottom of the deck and the spectator can place the card into the deck Cheers Keith |

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The feedback I have been getting is to post a video from another angle so I will do just that when I have some more time. As with all passes this can be angle sensitive. However there is several subtle inclusions that make this work very nicely. Firstly the fairness of the pass outweighs any angle issues (even though they are not major issues anyway). Secondly the squaring action is very natural and you don't end up with this situation where you are holding the deck with both hands. Lastly the card remains visible until it is completely inside the deck.
PS this is a concept that I am developing at the moment and the variations are endless. The title "Placement Pass" is about performing the pass as or before the card is placed into the deck. This may be a hint for those with a keen eye but if you have any suggestions or ideas please send them through! |

Very nicely done reidk02!
(It does look a lot like Scott Guinn's GUB move. Are you familiar with that one?) Thanks! Jim |

Scott closed up his site about a year ago in order to accept a position as full-time pastor of his church, but I believe that most, if not all, of his ebooks are sold at http://www.lybrary.com .
Here's a direct link - http://www.lybrary.com/the-guinn-utility......s_id=235 (Searching at Lybrary.com will drive you crazy! I also sent you a PM. ) Jim |
