I had my own sound system now for little over a year but since I lacked invisible way to control music myself I have used music just to introduce me, get assistants on and off stage with music and in the end. I have seen Nick Lewin and Scott Alexander to use fanfaires and stuff like that to great effect in their acts to punctuate the end of the routines. Also of course it is possible to use music just to play in the background to create atmosphere, but that is harder to do in comedy talking act. Is there any material written on this or good examples available? Also where to find fanfaires and such to use?
