wowza! I've actually checked out this thread before, but alas, it was in the wee hours of the morning and I didn't want to wake my sweetie by playing YouTube vids. I finally checked out both of these and, as I said, wowza!

both of them fooled me completely, even though I used to do a ring on string (more like Mr. Mendoza's routine than Mr. Balay's). I'm going to be adding the effect to my "must re-learn" list just as soon as I hit the submit button on this post.
