Does anyone know if there's any restrictions or taxes to be paid to import coins from the US to the UK?
There's some cheap half dollars on eBay at the moment. Oli |

If you're after some half-dollars - if you know anyone going to the US they can go into most banks and simply pay for them at cost.

You are allowed to import no more than £145 worth of goods from outside the EU without paying duty

I used to carry rolls of half dollars with me to England for my magic friends... also, when the Kennedy Half came out, you could get away with just using ONE of them for a tip... it was like giving someone 5 Quid!
But that wore off.
