I received an email from Gemini Artifacts saying that they are having a Black Friday sale today with 25-percent off all items in their store except for the spirit tables. When I went to checkout on their site, I typed in the coupon code for the 25-percent off that was included in my email. I kept getting a message saying the code was either invalid, expired, or had reached its usage limit. So....unfortunatley for Gemini Artifacts -- no sale.

Have you taken the time to email and wait for a reply from Vic? In my experience his customer service is top notch.

Got an email response back today. Was told to enter the discount code in lower-case letters (the email with the code had it printed in upper-case letters). The lower-case letters worked. However, after entering my credit card info and billing information and clicking the SUBMIT button, I got an error message saying "Username/Password is Incorrect." So...I logged back out of the site and then logged back in. Resubmitted the order and got the same error message.
Really no comment or judgement here. I'm just reporting my experience with the site as a first-time customer. I do appreciate Vic's speedy reply today to my initial email complaint about the discount code not working. Got that problem fixed. But, in my opinion, his site is losing business for him if I (and who knows how many others) am having this much difficulty placing an order, especially on the busiest shopping day of the year. |
