There is a street magician in London who is reviving street magic with "different" effects. A sort of British David Blaine but with much better effects.
Superb magic, superb misdirection, super audience management... miles away from Gazzo or Cellini and ahead of time. He is as shameless as Houdini and as reckless as Chris Angels but, IMHO, much better. I love the modernity of his work: we'll hear from him for long http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQRyvpvqshM or get to his site http://www.dynamomagician.com/
Magic is the art of emotionally sharing live impossible situations

In the youtube link (first one in the original post above), is the pony-tailed woman walking by flashing the international "Loser" sign (finger and thumb raised to forehead)?
Hilarious! |

That effect was done by an entire group of violinists at a concert in China. They say down where there was no chair, raised up one foot on their knee while playing violins.

This has been done several years ago, and there are other street videos like this. I believe, if I remember correctly this illusion is claimed to be Cyril's from Japan.
This illusion was created because of the Matrix movie. |

He has been doing a TV show in the UK....spectators frequently say things like "have you seen Dynamo"? Certainly skilled and doing well. Personally not so mad on his TV show but the general public love it and it is good for magic.

Yeah... Technically it's just the lean, which was invented and patented by Michael Jackson.

I believe the sitting was invented by Danny Cole and given to Cyril. Many have, sadly, ripped it off.

Lawrence O. that's a cool clip, but how can that style of street performing be compared to Gazzo or Cellini? They gather a crowd, keep them and hat them.

A great magician. The first serie was very nice. I love to see somebody doing some magic. He makes A lot of magicals wonders. The two episodes of the second serie (at discovery Europe)is not my style. He does some special trics it's look like he have some supernatural skills. that's not the magic I love. But he does it great en diserve all the credits!
