Absolutely hilarious!
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?
My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |

+1 for the African Bullfrog, they do have very sharp lower teeth, helps them hold their prey.
thanks for the funny! |

LOL
It made me jump!
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Yeah, bullfrogs are a trip! When I was a kid, we'd go fishing at a pond and if the fish weren't biting, we'd swap lures for flies and catch bullfrogs. We'd play with them for a while then let them go. I'd hate to tangle with an African Bullfrog, though. Those things can get huge!

Betty Crocker (The Goddess of Just Desserts) at work. LOL
When I was a kid my Grandfather would hunt Bullfrogs for Frog legs. One evening he got a 5 gallon bucket full late at night. The Frogs were cold and quiet and he was tired so he but a board and a rock on top of the pail and put it out of the way near the back the refrigerator and went to bed. My Grandmother got up early to start the fire in the potbelly stove in the kitchen. A loud call of "PORTER!" came from the kitchen (As close as my grandmother ever came to scolding). There were several grandchildren visiting and we hopped down the stairs in jig time when we heard our Grandfather laughing at the kitchen full of now very active bullfrogs. Jolly mayhem ensued in the hunt. Those Frogs got a reprieve. Good times. -Mary Mowder |

Sauteed frogs' legs are a favorite culinary delight. Lightly seasoned and floured, sauteed in butter. mmmh-mmmmh-mmmmh!
And they DON'T taste like chicken, they taste like sauteed frogs's legs!

For a short time I worked at two of the four Nathan's (the hot dog people) restaurants in New York. (Gone now.)
One of the things we had to make was deep fried frog's legs. Never tried one.

I worked under the tutelage of a French Chef, and that's where I learned to prepare Grenouilles Provençale. They taste more "fishy" than chicken, but always reminded me of G.I. Joe war casualties.

That was back in 1971 and I remember thinking it was strange having frogs legs at a famous NY hot dog joint. They were actually pretty good.

No wonder the frog went for a bite, after being so ruthlessly scammed!
