I recently got a small elegance chop cup from Gareth Gwatkin at Hidden Wren. It's abolutely beautiful and works very smoothly. The action is perfect and the inside of the cup is curved meaning you have a great deal of control over the 'moment'.
It's perfect for me as it's small enough to fit into a jacket pocket (loads included - limes in my case) but it doesn't look like a tiny cup. Gareth is really easy to deal with and a nice guy to have a chat with. The price is good too for a really professional prop. He is based in the U.K. so if you're on this side of the pond then it's handy to have a maker like this nearby. Have a look here: http://www.hiddenwrenmagic.com/magicprop......ault.asp (note, I'm not connected with him in any way, just a very happy customer who thinks more people should know about this guy.) |

Which style of cup did you purchase?

Wow. I think I dribbled a little.

I second the dribble. Great stuff. Yet more things I don't need but have to have.

Dennis Loomis had a very nice micro chop cup totally in hand routine for strolling, where no table was even needed. Various potential practical climaxes -including liquid finish- were offered.
The original copper spun cups are no longer available but the http://www.hiddenwrenmagic.com/limited-editions.asp offers a very elegant "Elm Stubby" made in elm, with Ivory Resin Inlay and 2.5 inches height (2 inch mouth), that meets the requirements.
