Hi !
Does anyone know who was the first one to perform an effect such as Frozen in Time? Is there any copyrights for these kind of stunts, considering different methods and presentations? I Watched different versions including of course David Blaine but also: Luis de Matos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PToen2cUGE David Merlini http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzY7x5s3A......ts_video Amey Sarang http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mCrwDImny8 I heard about a old magician ? who performed a such effect many years ago. I noticed that the appellation " Frozen Alive" was from a 1964 Sci-Fi movie Luis de Matos is even selling for professionals magicians a DVD teaching a version to perform this effect... Considering all these points and the quantity of other performances which seems to be in the public domain ? ( Straightjacket Escapes, Buried Alive, Various Water-tank escapes, Walk on Fire, and similar stunts ) My question is: Can I perform a such effect, staying encased inside a big block of ice and be released some days after? Considering a different method, different designs, different presentation, different name? Is the fact to escape from Ice is exclusive to someone ??? I tried to contact various people around David Blaine but I never get even any answer from anyone.... Thanks for your precious help! |
