Like you're now able to do grown up stuff but in your head you're still a kid...
See everything like a kid would... Would everything literally be like a kid in a candy store? Driving, performing, staying up, drinking, sex etc... So long as you don't hurt others of course. Would that mindset make you happier?

Not a child, no. I think of myself more in the mid-twenties. Old enough for some perspective, but young enough to have fun and not care what others think when they see me do it.

Not exactly, but I do try very hard to hang onto a lot of what I had as a kid - curiosity, wonder, imagination, the ability to get excited over little things, not taking myself all that seriously, not feeling like I have to impress anybody, getting back up when I fall down, and seeing the fun in simple things. Some of these are so hard sometimes when you're surrounded by people who can't relate to any of it.

No. There are times when I feel like a 12 year old expected to act like an adult. It's very stressful because I'm waiting for the screw up to happen. 12 year olds are likely to think things through very thoroughly.

Some 12 year old's have reasonable grammar. Not many, but some.
