Spectacular!

On a side note, the first illusion that struck me was hearing an Asian gentleman speaking with an Australian accent. To an American, that's very unexpected. I've had the pleasure of having students from all over the world; in my most recent class I had another Asian who was educated in Queensland. I also - several years ago - had a student of Korean heritage who grew up in England and worked for the Bank of Scotland: when he delivered his first question in class in a thick, Scottish burr, I was momentarily stunned. I love it!

Hi,

I have no doubt that your show will be amazing Smile

However, I think it would have been cool to credit Richard Wiseman's work on the very same psychological trick and principles :

I wish you the best of luck !

Very nice , thought there was something going on down with hands,as they were out of shot, just goes to show how much we can miss when percieving visual data.

Hey S2000magician,

A lot of people are surprised when they don't hear an accent! I was born in Australia that will probably explain my Australian accent haha
But wow I can imagine how an Asian with a Scottish accent would totally surprise you! I have never met anyone like that before lol
Thanks for the great feed back S2000magician!

My pleasure.

I studied French for one year at university, so many years ago that I remember only the tiniest bit. My wife and I were in Paris last May (I was teaching finance over the weekend), and the gentleman who hired me told me that I speak French with a Parisian accent, albeit very slowly. (He said I sound like a shy Parisian.) I can only attribute that to my French professor, Mlle. Dozier.
