I am not familiar with much of the material mentioned above; but, the video seemed like Steve Shufton's XRay with a new presentation.

The two principles are completely unrelated.

That was a great performance, whomever the gentleman was!

Graham Jolly I believe. I can see how P&T missed this one. Not really their area of expertise & TBH I have performed both Prior Commitment & Divide & Conquer & still don't understand how it works!

Do prefer D&C though as Prior has got a flaw.

Hi All

This thread is almost like deja vu I am almost convinced I have seen a similar thread in the last few days. But here goes - I like Simon Aronson's work on this topic - especially prior commitment.

As a direct result of this thread, I ended up buying my first Simon Aronson book, Try the Impossible. I'm now hooked and will be seeking out his other works very soon. I was already familiar with shuffle-bored through the works of Harry Lorayne, John Bannon, and JK Hartman, but I had very little exposure to Mr. Aronson's other creations. So, thanks, everyone!

Oh, and I would say my favorite impossible looking self-working effect is "Total Card-Matching Routine" by Nick Trost.
