I hope this is the right forum to post to.
Well, here is what I want to do. During a presentation I need to randomly ask spectators to give me three or four dog names which I will write down on a notepad. After writing the names down I will give the list to a spectator for safe keeping and later comparison. I will then remove my wallet from my inside coat pocket and in the wallet is a sealed envelope with a prediction. I hand the prediction to another audience member to open the envelope and take out the prediction. The prediction will show cartoon pictures of four dogs with the names (the audience members shouted out previously)written under each dog. Applause. Well I figured out how to get the names on the prediction. Now I need suggestions for an easy to load wallet (envelope) that I can make or buy from a dealer. Any ideas are welcome and appreciated. Looking forward to discuss this further. Mike |

I personally like the LePaul Wallet. The cost is around $ 65.00 but it is very easy to load. Perhaps someone can chime in here and give you some less expensive options. I have been using this Wallet for many a years. It is crafted very well in my opinion.

You don't really need a wallet to do the effect you're describing.

It sounds like you could use Spellbinder's Wizard Wallet to do that (from The Wizards' Journal #20). Spellbinder got the wallet shown in his photos from a Dollar Store, but Dollar store prices have gone up to about $1.29, so that might be too expensive for some. Also, once you get the right type of wallet, you have to do some work on it yourself to add a pad and pencil, etc. If you decide to go for it, your prediction envelope would take the place of the signed card to wallet effect using the same methods he outlines in the e-Book.

I like pay envelopes, and a leather wallet personally. Some people prefer plastic wallets, but they feel like toys to me. Seems like any wallet or envelope should be able to hold a picture of some dogs, no?
envelopes these are the envelopes I use. |

Hi Mike and welcome. Wallets..... Wallets everywhere but which (if any) to carry? What kind of wallet (non-gimmicked) do you carry now?
The point being if you don't carry a wallet now.....why start? If you do carry a wallet what style do you like? Your web page shows you to be a professional......you don’t want a piece of plastic junk. Although a plastic junk or even a self-made tape wallet can help you decided what you want or need before spending more. |
