Replacement value for your collection of mint sealed Tenyo would be $1200 at this current time.
You would have no problem rebuilding your collection at this current time because your Tenyo, for the most part, are readily available. |

There are three great dealers in your neck of the woods. They have all helped me make my collection
Tom Trix from Denmark Rene from dynamite magic.nl (prices are high for most of the items on the website, but if you deal directly via email Rene will work you a good deal) Ron from Magicshop.nl (he might have some other Tenyo than what is listed on his site if you deal direct) All three have posted in the Tenyo Section here on the Café but they are not regulars. There is a major collector named Daniel from Sweden but I am not sure if he is here. |

Anything of separate value, jelwelry, silverware, art, Tenyo etc. should have an insurance rider
to cover replacement cost. Make sure you keep pictures of the collection as well as an itemized list. Do not keep the list or pictures in your home. Make sure you update the inventory often. |

Do you intend on collecting all 250+ items?
If all you want is those 10 items then OK. But, It probably isn't practical to start with the hardest items. The hardest items are so scarce you may never ever find them and if you do, all the crazy people here know every trick in the book to find it first. another way to do that would be to start with item 1 and collect numerically. Better would be;Buy what you like when you see it. |

The 10 most difficult T-numbered tricks to get are really hard to find and if you do they can cost many hundreds of dollars.
Most of us major collectors are missing around 8-10 items. These items are not necessarily the best tricks, just the hardest to find. You would only want these tricks if you are trying to complete a entire collection which no one that I know of has. 1. Magic Coaster (no one that I know has) 2. Break Away Fan (no one that I know has) 3. Invisible Man 4. Melting Loop (very hard but some have shown up recently) 5. Astro Tube 6. Astro Coin 7. Fantastic 8. Coin Case 9. Super Vase a la India 10. There are about 10 different tricks that could go here. |

But if you look for the rarest, you would be competing with the crazy people here in this forum.
The guys on this forum are like Profesional Hunters. Heck it wouldn't surprise me if these guys surf the internet in masks & capes with the Lucky Bunny emblazoned on their super hero costumes. Yup, I can see it now, JM & Stereo surfing the web at 3am in their Tenyo feetsie pajamas looking for deals. (now there is a thought I can never un-think) |

Anyway, Welcome Polar Bear.
You were at the first stage of Tenyoitis but are now moving to stage two. There is no way to stop the progression. Just go along with it and enjoy. STAGE 1: You know of Tenyo and have some tricks. STAGE 2: You stumble on a Tenyo website and want to get all the "good ones" preferably loose because you do not care about the packaging. STAGE 3: You now prefer to get the "good ones" both loose and in really nice sealed packages. STAGE 4: You have decided to try to complete the entire T-Collection. STAGE 5: You have gotten all but 8-10 T-numbers and are stuck finding the remaining ones. |

Ed,
Thank you. Yes it is an effort to make these kind of detailed posts, but I always imagine as I am writing and reseaching them that they will be helpful to others that are new here. I looks like we are getting a lot of new Tenyo enthusiasts which is great. John |

I am happy to be called "crazy" or "a geek" when it comes to Tenyo or Disney theme parks.
