I am interested in performing Gaetan Bloom's effect where a card stands on its edge on a table using invisible thread. Since many tables have white table cloths, I would like to find invisible thread in white. Can anyone aim me in the right direction? I am new regarding thread work, so is there a better forum to post this inquiry in that I would have access to? Thank you

I remember when I read Gaetan Bloom's effect, the effect is done on a close-up mat. That way there is something to anchor the IT to. Just get one of the half size mats, and work all your magic on it.
Even if you could find IT in white, it would not work, with using a powerful spot light, and that would blind everyone from seeing anything. |

Send me your address and I will send you a white Invisible elastic thread sample. This needs no stripping and will work for what your trying to accomplish and you don't need a close up mat.
Thanks, Rudy

I just purchased a package deal with Yigal Mesika's Tarantula, Boomerang card, and IET. The Tarantula doesn't work ( my second and last one to purchase that doesn't work - never again ! ) and the Boomerang card thread is white. Useless for me, but it might be ok for what you want. That sounded like a good deal, but at approx. $ 50 for a gimmick that came broken (again), a thread of an un-usable colour, and one piece of equipment usable and in good condition, it is the dearest length of thread I have ever purchased.

I think the new Legacy spool contains white thd. Tho it's elastic it should work for your effect.
