Hi guys. I've been playing around with the Out to Lunch principle lately. I'm looking for some new presentations, particularly the 'manipulation of thought', i.e. someone misremembering something. Is anyone familiar with some works based around this presentation?

Hey...we don't discuss methods/techniques out in the open...this part of the forum is googleable.. so once you have made 50 posts you can access the other mentalism section that isn't traceable via googling...but don't spam the board to get your post rate up, they'll get deleted and people will get a bit shouty at you... take your time...

Iain, thanks for the suggestion. I have indeed been playing with the presentation of hypnosis and subliminal advertising with the OTL principle. Kinda going for a "misremembering of thoughts" or amnesia effect. Still currently in the works, hence me asking for ideas regarding presentation.

Peter Arcane's lecture notes, 'From the Twisted Mind of Peter Arcane' contain an OTL effect utilizing the presentation you describe. The effect was republished alongside a similar effect by Tony Razzano in Banachek's PS2. They both appear in the book under the chapter heading 'Subtle Amnesia'.

Joshua Quinn has ideas in line with what you're looking for. Not necessarily using Out To Lunch, but the thinking can be adapted to use OTL rather than Quinn's preferred sneakiness.

Matthew, the StockHolder book is perhaps a good place to start once you know the basic OTL handling. It also comes with a business card wallet which looks a bit nicer than rubber bands. Think it was sold by Gregory Wilson?
