For those who have used both, which of these 2 holdouts presents the best general purpose use, ease of use and pull to extension ratio:

Florentin Holdout by Martin Breese
http://www.martinbreese.com/trickpages/holdout.htm
or
The Stinger Card Holdout Device by Jay Leslie
http://www.thehouseofenchantment.com/pages/holdoutpage.html

And if the Stinger is the better of the 2, ids the price difference warranted?

Thank you so much for any input.
You can PM as well if you prefer.
Thank you,

SMERSH,

You're posting the area for non-card stuff. Do you realize the LEslie hold out is just for cards, right?

There are far less expensive hold-outs for general/non-card magic.

I know some stuff about hold-outs, I have a Kepplinger that's a little older than the model made by Mr. Leslie. Jay Leslie's looks VERY interesting. It is NOT practical for magic, at all, especially for me, since I work standing. I ordered the Breese model some time ago. I never gave it the time it probably deserved.

If you want to use a hold-out for cards . . . there's a model you can use that is less expensive than either of those and is a much better choice for all types of magic.

A warning, learning to use one of these things is the hardest thing I've ever done, in magic. You can see one of these goofy devices in action here.

If this kind of magic is what you're after, you're barking up the wrong tree, with the two models you've found. If it is cards you're thinking of and cheating at cards is what your about then . . . spend away.

Well, hard or not, I think it was worth it! I think your routine is more deceiptive than the Ammar/Vernon/Gazzo ones, especially because it seems to me that you are taking your time to handle the balls. I don't know how a holdout works, but I know where to look for it. I think your routine gives plenty of cover for this "goofy" device (which indeed looks really awkward when I watch the teaser for a Miller Holdout DVD on youtube...)
