So there was recently on a popular online show an invisible deck reveal. Now there have been many online exposures of this popular item but this handling was Jay Sankey's X if I'm not mistaken. Now I know Jay sells this handling which makes the invisible deck worth doing ,now I'm not so sure. Sad thing is I'm sure many people are perfectly ok with this exposure or think its not that big a deal. It seemed the whole thing seemed more like a pitch to sell invisible decks since most people wont go through the hassle of making one. If you want to pitch the thing, fine, but why reveal it?

The online show in question doesn't sell ID's does it?
Unless it does, I wouldn't call it a "pitch". |

Ya, he tells you to go to his site to purchase them if you don't feel like making one. Maybe the assumption is knowing the process to make one and how much a pain it is may increase sales? I'm not sure the motivation. This guy is a fairly popular college performer as well ,I'm just at a loss why he's revealing someone else's marketed handling.

Unfortunately, few honor the magician's code anymore. Whenever I have objected on the Café to exposure I have been countered by many who see no harm in it- even told that it is good for magic... Expect little support of this topic here.

Is it possible that the children that grew up watching the Masked Magician revere him as a role model, or their hero? Too bad. ShirtlessKirk, There is a 10 page thread discussing this exposure by Brain Brushwood in the Secret Sessions forum, a forum that will be open to you after you get 50 posts. Also, I understand that Bruce Kalver, Past National President of the SAM has interviewed Brian and it will be published in the next MUM magazine.
