I am a very new IBM member, so for some of you this may be a very elementary question, sorry.

I will be spending two weeks in a foreign county. Is there a way to find and possibly hook up with IBM magicians in the country that I will be visiting?

I know it's been a while since the original message was posted. I hope you were able to contact some magicians in the country you visited.

Even though there may not be an IBM ring in a given country or city, there is still the possibility that there are magicians in those places who are members of IBM.

You could even post an inquiry on any given forum of The Magic Café. If your interest is manipulation, put a message on the Finger/Stage Manipulation forum. If your interest is kid show magic, try The Little Darlings forum, etc.

I am now back. And, by chance, I hooked up with a magician. Because I am a Canadian living in Canada, it was not a problem for me to visit Cuba. It was great. And, we are going back.

The magician was Cuban and I ended up leaving him a Svengali deck, a TT and some silks. There are some things that I can get easier than he can.
