I'm looking for a mic for busking. Just wondering if you have any recommendations.
I can either get an item called "Cube 50" which comes with everything, handheld mic, lapel, headset mic, plus receiver pa system amp and belt pack
for $300 with 1 year warranty
thing is I don't need handheld and lapel mic
or I can get a $60 headset with 2 year warranty, plus a $130 portable pa system/amp with only 90 days warranty, except it is 100 dollars cheaper

and that is cube 50 $300 with 1 year warranty but don't need two of the three mics but I do know that with cube 50, all of the parts are compatible with each other

The problem with the cube 50 is you ussaly find with these thing is it all made in a factory and sold as one peace. Buying replacements can be hard. Also you will want to check that the reviver is battery operated. As for speaker Google search Roland cubes. I have a Roland street cube and it rocks. It can work of 6 AA batteries.

I would suggest you should buy a Roland cube. Use it just for music and make money for a wireless microphone. Start of with mid price but work your way up.

I own 2 Happie Amps. They have literally saved me on a gig. I am a full time pro here in Pittsburgh,.PA. I have used them for around 2 years now. Many times I have gigs booked back to back with no time to set up my other PA. Takes me a couple minutes to set up my Happie Amps. I know the amp would work for busking. I.have used mine for some outdoor events.

I am buying a very lightly used Happe amp set Thursday. After thoroughly researching the product, and talking to Brian, I can't see anything any better! The wireless Receiver for the mics are built right into the amp so that you can literally go right into your show, no matter where you are, from the get-go! Roland cube street + ipod + ijet remote + samson airline micro mic.
All on batteries, rechargeable, lightweight.
I will try this setup shortly, except that I have a mobile cube instead of the street cube - it will be replaced later on.
Still thinking about some sort of structure to serve as a protective shell for the equipment, to save it from the elements and to shield it a bit from the human elements too.
