ANY of these books are worth gold and should be in every serious magician's library.

Good news for those that don't have them.

The last time I saw Gary Kurtz book was way back to 2006 my visit to Hollywood Magic in Los Angeles before its tragetic incident closure... time flies...
Most memorable moment - with Maestro Juan Tamariz & Consuelo Lorgia in FISM Busan 2018.

Bitter sweet. I felt so special with my swami mantra.

Learn to do some of the Jadoo feats in there and you'll still feel special!

Are these available directly from the publishers, or across different retailers?

True duanebarry! That's originally what I bought it for, but realizing how vague most descriptions were, I chickened out on most of the stuff. However, like you said Vvlad, there are some great magic effects in there as well! I remember enjoying a gimickless three card Monte with an awesome kicker ending, and a precursor to the modern paperclipped. There is much more of course. I just haven't looked in a few years. I think its time again!

The amazing pog, it did seem they will be available at a later date from other places. Penguin says expert coin should be in stock soon. But why wait??

I successfully learned the blockhead effect from Swami/Mantra. Most of the others scared me off, though.
Eating glass in particular is probably not recommended -- I've read that it's really damaging to the enamel of the teeth. |

I was happy to order a copy of "Cardmagic," By Richard Kaufman, one I was recently lamenting I had missed along the way.
