I started to read my April 2013 issue of National Geographic and on page 22 there is a brief blurb on curse tablets. Had me interested, so I decided to do a quick check. Found two links with a quick search:

Strange, I am sure it could be made into a spooky routine with a little thought.
By failing to prepare, we are preparing to fail.

Well, there are a lot of routine potential in those items:
In my collection of antique magical artifacts I've a Vth Egyptian Dynasty (4500 years old) cursing tablet and a curse clay doll from the same origin and era (still with hairs), and a very small Roman lead figurine for curses. I use them, especially the Egyptian ones in a routine called Malediction (Capricornian Tales) along with various scarabs and small Egyptian figurines. The collection contains also 2 Babylonian Demon Bowls, an original Mesopotamian head of Pazuzu, a cursed greek sling bullet (with the engraving of a scorpio)¤, a very old ring of a secret society of Demon Slayers (with Arhiman and Ormuzd), a Mesopotamian stone Seal with the Engraving of a Demon assaulting a gazelle... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sling_(weapon) Fragment of one of the Demon Bowls in 13: a book about the Surnateum by photographer Anne Laure Jacquart. |
