I know this doesn't really go in this area but it doesn't fit anywhere else either
I am looking for some good quotes by magicians in the past to put on a magic T-shirt. - Thanks |

Houdini said something like "I’d rather live one day as a lion then 100 years as a coward." I think this was said by Houdini, but I am not positive.

Cool, I am doing the same thing, I have a black shirt and am putting the four aces on the pocket, the back will say: "For those who believe no explanation is necessary, for those who do not, none will suffice." I forgot who quoted it. I will have to check it out.
"Dreams are born of imagination, fed upon illusions, and put to death by reality."

I think I've seen that quote in David Blaine book but forgot who actually said this.

Responding to their plea for doing the trick again, I reply, "Once is Magic!!!... Twice is an Education!!" Now there's a quote that will fit on a T-shirt!!
"Once is Magic!! Twice is an Education!!"

Since I can't get the forklift up to the third floor of the Lodge Hall!" - Jay Marshall - re: Masked Magi exposure "The art of a magician is to create wonder. NightBringer asks the origination of the quote: "For those who believe no explanation is necessary, for those who do not, none will suffice."
Generally attributed, in a magic sense, to Joe Dunninger back in the 1920s. My personal favorite was on a T-shirt worn by the wife of a fellow magician. It said: "My next husband will be normal!" |

"the power or magic lies in the idea that the magician helps his audience to suspend their belief in reality and open their minds to the impossible thereby allowing him to create for them an impossible reality"

"For those who believe no explanation is necessary, for those who do not, none will suffice." So many people have credited Blaine with this quote. He really has a way of influence.
