From a very early age, Greg began using computers to develop special effects for film and television long before many even knew that such things were possible with computers.

His love of magic, is evident in his constant quest to amaze both on screen and in real life.



From the ages of 20 thru 24, Greg created graphics for movies, TV and games. He broke into the big leagues while working at Dream Quest on the ride film "Space Shuttle America".

He then worked at Pacific Title Digital on many features films such as Batman Forever, Outbreak, Species, Deep Blue Sea, Mortal Combat and others. Always an innovator, Greg then went to work for EDS Digital Studios where he developed technologies to digitally restore films, including Gone with the Wind and all of the classic Disney animated features.

In early 2006, (right after the birth of YouTube) Greg released his critically acclaimed COSMOS "Out of this World" card effect. Soon afterwards, he released STUCK! which is now considered one of the earliest uses of fast paced commercial-like videos to promote magic.

In 2009, Greg released his now famous iForce app, which is now the top selling magic app in the world. Today, iForce is considered the first organic magic app.

In 2010 Greg and his sister Sylvia were issued two patents for their development of Text Magic and Textilism (a process for creating images from legible text).

Recently Greg was honored as a guest on Penguin Magic's online lectures, where he showcased some of his signature effects (many of which don't use technology) like COSMOS 2, Thrice and The CLAW!

Today, Greg Rostami continues his passion for magic and technology. He now has 16 magic apps on both iOS and Android!
