What is the magic trick called where a glass of water is placed into a box and two blades are put through it from the front and back then a wand through the side. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It reads as if you're describing Grant's/MAK's Bamboo Chest & Glass. Note that the design/gimmick/handling on the newer models is somewhat improved, but often times the quality of the individual apparatus is lacking.
