Just curious if there was such a thing. A Book test with Kindle or Nook or any Phone app?

Thought J. Prager had something. Alvo Stockman had some type of book test service, not sure if it is still up and running, haven't heard anything about it in a year or two.

I think LIEbrary by Jose Prager is what is referenced by Stephen and Bobby. Ebook book test, it's actually very well priced and IIRC you get a few different books included to work with.
You could also use your favourite f**ce and use any book that you carry on your device. Osterlind does a basic one with cards on his Annemann set but there are so many possibilities for ensuring a particular bit of a book is chosen that any book could be used. One thing worth considering is the way an ebook is navigated - if you know your way around a pdf editor you can create duplicate pages (hard to spot in large ebooks) and link from the main index. So although the index would be say chapter 1 page 3, Chapter 2 page 21, Chapter 3 page 33 etc they would all link to the same (text wise) page. Similarly you could start with a bank of regular pages at the start, flick through to show a 'normal' book and then have every page after the initial bank of genuine ones be duplicates. Lots of scope for play but personally I hate involving tech like this - with all the 'magic apps' that layman are sadly now too familiar with the suspicion of tech is high in some circumstances. My favorite "book test app" doesn't use a book at all. Instead it uses the maps application. It was originally conceived by John Archer and I believe it's still available for sale. The spectator opens the "Maps" application and drills down in the US (or UK) to the street level and can move around until they find a completely random street name.
The performer, after some stunning performance, is able to tell the spec the street they're thinking of. It seems a bit more consistent with a phone than using a book, but I'm sure some of the more traditional book tests could play quite well on a phone.
