I imagine it will be exactly like that.

Democratic-lite? Seriously? You think the Republican's problem is that they're not conservative enough? That, I suggest, is their problem- they are TOO FAR to the right and have largely been co-opted by the tea party. They need to return to days of moderate Republicanism. |

Sure Lobo if we enter into a second worldwide great depression the republican party will stand an outside chance of regaining greatness.
Lets all hope and pray for that to happen to us.

Of course you realize that mostly zealots vote in off year elections.

Balducci you can quote anything you want to hope and pray things are not as bad as they seem.
If republicans articulate their own ideas and we have ghastly unemployment figures and such even the lamestream media won't help in 2014.

Not sure I disagree with you or not. Could you please tell me what you mean by a "real conservative?" |

I don't think it's so much a problem of the GOP not being inclusive so much as the GOP has a brutal platform to compete against.
The platform of the progressive left has become a promise of cradle-to-grave support. Considering the progressives have steadily broken down our education system since the days of Roosevelt (yes, I know he was a 'Republican') the majority of registered voters are now low-information voters. How can the educated voters in America compete with that? It's like trying to compete with Walmart. It's futile and ultimately forces businesses to close, costs jobs and breaks down the fabric of a community. |
