Hello in there!
Are there any other Prine fans here at the Café? I just saw John Prine yesterday in Seattle.. He is simply amazing. It was at an outdoor venue and it was raining, but he made you forget it. He sounds a lot different than he did before cancer, but he still gives his all and delivers (but seeing as he used to be a mailman - its not surprising).. His fans in attendance who were singing along spanned every possible age group.. If you are a fan, you should certainly do your best to catch him live! He is touring right now. |

John Prine is a true working class hero. I have seen him many times, and I look forward to seeing him the next time he comes to town.

Oh what the heck, one more, a live performance of Hello in There, a song he says is his favorite of all the ones he's written. It's pretty great:

I am a fan now! I never heard of John Prine before. Thanks.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.
