Guess they forgot to tell Bill Buckley. "...as we reason and love, we are able to hope. And hope enables us to resist those things that would enslave us." |

Though I think they were both guilty, I think I'm missing something in the argument here. What is the analogy between the OJ case and Zimmerman? Apples and Oranges to me.

Issa's conduct has made a mockery of Congressional hearings and his so-called "report" should be viewed accordingly. It is ALWAYS important to consider the source, particularly when that source does not have a reputation for honesty. |

It is more important never to believe anything you are told.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Vs. "Was it murder?" (Zimmerman)). So (IMO again), if you think Simpson was innocent and Zimmerman was guilty (particularly guilty beyond a reasonable doubt), you're probably motivated by something beside the facts of the cases (you know...the R word). It's not really an analogy, per se...I have no problem with thinking that Simpson was innocent OR that Zimmerman was guilty. It's the conjunction. You need both - one to show what your particular threshold is for sufficient proof, and another to show that you'll violate it if...well, under certain circumstances.

So if Al Sharpton, who among other things has been found liable for slander, says that there is racism in America, we can conclude that there is no racism in America, because he's an opportunistic, lying phony?
It's a distinction with an enormous difference.
