I'n trying to identify a Gambler vs Magician Four Aces routine I was shown earlier in the summer at a magic club meeting. The member who presented it said he learned it sometime ago and doesn't recall where he learned it. I've also asked some fairly knowledgable magicians in email messages about this and they've never heard of it. It uses four SC red backed aces in a blue backed deck all in a red box. The plot is that a professional gambler challenges a magician to cut to the four aces. The magician doe so, but the gambler 'catches' him using blue backed aces in a red deck. The gambler then cuts to the four red backed aces in the red deck. However, the magician finally wins the challenge by changing the red deck to a blue deck. Anyone heard of this routine? If you want more details than we should discuss out in the open PM me and I will give you the set up and work.
