There are many who keep saying if, if, if. If I were a doctor or if I owned a business or if...well you get the picture. But ask them what have they done to try and accomplish any of these goals. Usually nothing because they are sitting back and saying if. Those who choose to take the simple way out and just sit back and do nothing don't fair that well unless they win the lottery. Those who have a goal and persue it are usually more successful. But sittinig back and complaining and saying if is not going to get it done. But IF you win the lottery, there you go. By the way once he gets to NZ he has to get a job set his alarm and get up and go to work. Does that sound familiar? Now if he were a doctor or owned a business or...here we go again. Time to find another country. Of course he can get drunk in public and it is OK. So if that works.

No it wouldn't be much different elsewhere but I would prefer to live somewhere that I can agree with those in charge more. I have no faith in the current system or the people running it. I don't belong in this country as it's values are seemingly not my own. There was a time that America would have been the freest country in the world but it seems that is no longer the case. I'm not so sure people in this country as a majority want to be free. If it were so they wouldn't continuously elect people so determined to take away their freedoms. I'm sure many people are perfectly happy with an incompetent government who spies on its people. Most people in this country are also complete idiots willing to give away their freedoms to whomever promises them the most security. |

Not just as, but Canada also demands taxes from Canadians who love in other countries.
America and North Korea are, I believe, the only other countries which claim ownership of you even if you live and work in another country. You need their permission to leave, and get rid of your citizenship, and they will still demand money from you at that point, either "taxing" your own property, otherwise known as holding your belongings for ransom when done by anyone else. Even after you leave, even if they've given you "permission," there are still several ways in which they will try and extort money from you over the next 5 years.

That's for anyone who wants to leave, if the "authorities" want.

I watched this short movie on a flight to Montreal the other day:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2041386/ I think it is a heck of a lot better if one does not know the set-up going in. That was the case for myself, several thousand feet in the air. You clever possums may already know too much to get the full effect. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSyR4WPzCnQ :)

NSA swag from Montreal. Thanks, U.S. taxpayer. (Must remember to check the NSA-branded black laundry bag and pen for RFID chips.)
